The Erasmus+ National Agency acknowledges that the Erasmus+ functions very well at the University of Bialystok. The Agency granted the biggest university in Podlasie 97 out of 100 points for the final report of the project which was implemented in 2019-2021. During that time 93 students and 104 workers of the University of Bialystok benefited from the project.
The final report is a summary of international educational cooperation, which is carried out in a given academic year in terms of the Erasmus+ program. Because of the pandemic, the project scheduled for 2019-2020 was extended until May 2021.
– Despite challenges connected with COVID-19, the University of Bialystok carried out the project successfully. It was highly rated by the Erasmus+ National Agency – says Anna May, the head of the International Cooperation Office at the University of Bialystok, which coordinates the Erasmus + program.
The final report got a very good grade and gained 97 out of 100 points in total. According to the Erasmus+ National Agency information presented in the report tells us about a very good organization of the educational mobility at the University of Bialystok. It is thanks to the workers of the International Cooperation Office, who support and help participants in mobilities.
The level of satisfaction from experience gained during the realization of scholarship trips was highly rated by students and workers – one can read in the summary of quality assessment of the project.
In terms of the project completed in May of the current year, 93 students and 104 workers of the University of Bialystok went for studies, internships, trainings and foreign lectures. The budget received for these trips amounts to € 222,546. In turn, 77 foreign students visited the University of Bialystok.
The biggest university in Podlasie has been participating in the Erasmus+ program since 1999. Thanks to this program students can go for studies, foreign internships to all counties of the European Union and spend one semester or one year at the university, with which the University of Bialystok has signed the agreement. The choice is really big. The University of Bialystok has nearly 300 agreements with 204 universities.
Currently, faculties and institutes of the University of Bialystok are recruiting students for internships and studies abroad in the summer semester 2021/2022. Workers interested in training and lectures may also apply.
